Color Run

MAY 15 I signed up for the Color Run, and have been waiting impatiently ever since.

This past weekend was finally IT! Friday night we packed up half our house and made the quick trip down to San Diego.

Our hotel was, um, interesting sketchy... Our stay will make for some good stories for quite some time.  Getting doused with an array of colors while running is pretty close to peak awesomeness in my book, and a shady hotel wasn't about to sequester my excitement.

A group of friends ran together, alongside thousands of others.
The ladies of the group couldn't help but  get a little creative and crafty with our white tees.

We thought our shirts were pretty clever. 

Don't mind the "S" in 'Shades'. I may, or may not have had some issues with the iron-on letters.

Just wanted to make sure you had a nice close up of the "50 Shades of Cray(ola)" team. :)

Though we didn't stop to take any pictures while we were running I did snag a quick pic of one of the Color Stations.

Don't you just want to go run through that blue cloud a couple hundred times?!

There really are no words to describe how awesome this run was. If all 5ks were this awesome I'd be participating in one every weekend!

My tee stayed a little whiter than I had hoped the rest of me sure did come away colorful.

LA is hosting a Color Run, and there's one in Orange County. I had such a blast in San Diego I'm considering both.

I have to take a quick second to thank Scott for being my chauffeur for the weekend, taking care of Marcus while I got my color on, and posing as my personal photographer for the day.
