In addition to running to maintain my sanity I also try my hand at cooking and baking.

Being the red-blooded American I am, I love me some good old fashioned greasy food. However, that's obviously not going to help my health, or my waistline. With that said, I'm always looking for ways to take recipes and healthify them as much as possible.

Though I'm a born and bred Iowa-girl, I'm not much for beef and pork. I've found great and easy ways to substitute chicken and turkey in any beef or pork dish.
