The transition is happening…
Last night in the crib. |
And the naps appear to be a distant memory.
The novelty of the "new." |
However, after one and a half successful nights (it rained last night, and that was enough to drive Marcus out of his bed and into mine) we anxiously await the new big boy bed that is soon to arrive.
Wish us luck as we tackle this next milestone!
Happy Monday!
Yay for a big boy bed -- he'll love it! Callie is in heave with hers -- wish we would've gotten it sooner actually. And seriously that photo of Marcus in a sweatshirt and jeans? He looks like he's 2 going on 8! Naps... hang in there! When we fist moved out of the crib naps were the hardest but she got the hang of it - hoping new bed is just your nap hurdle! But I feel you --- we've missed two naps in the last four days. I was hoping they'd last til the fall when she starts school but I'm not so sure. Especially when our closest lake friends don't nap and summer is so close!
ReplyDeleteAaaaah so exciting!!!! Good luck, he will do great!!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting, but it's sad too because our kiddos are growing up!! I remember the day we transitioned Emma into her toddler bed/crib...I cried. And cried a lot! haha =)
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Henry transitioned to his big boy bed with no problem. Wesley... that I'm nervous about. We're moving him when we move. Yikes. Not sure he's ready, but I hope he'll be successful with sharing a room with Henry.
ReplyDeleteHe looks so grown up in the second picture! I hope the transition goes well!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting! Good luck friend I hope the transition goes as smoothly as possible.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!!!! He will do great!
ReplyDeletePS he is looking like SUCH a big boy in those jeans and a sweatshirt!
Yaay! He's a big kid now!
ReplyDeleteBig boy beds are fun!!!
ReplyDeleteNo naps are definitely no bueno. Praying for a smooth transition for ya'll!!! I plan on posting on our transition later this week...hopefully. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat looks almost EXACTLY like the crib we picked out for our little one. I'm glad it seems to have served Marcus well!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't made that change just yet. I thought about it but with taking his pacifier from him and moving into a new house, I thought enough with the changes. Maybe we will tackle it this Fall before school starts.
ReplyDeleteChris keeps saying we should change Aria's crib to the half gate type, but since I'm the one that will have to deal with it all night I'm not ready haha. I ask her if she wants a big girl bed and she says no, so that is good enough for me! Fingers crossed for you guys. I hope he loves the big boy bedwhen it arrives and helps him stay in it.
