The Boy Who Lost His Name {{+Giveaway}}

Reading is a big deal in our house. Growing up I remember spending countless hours curled up reading book after book. There was - and still is - something so magical about turning pages that can wrap you up in another place or time. Or the wonder of having a book so good that you relate to the characters, making it feel as if you know the characters personally.

When I was pregnant I prayed that I would have a baby who loved swimming. And reading.

So far, I think we are two for two. {praise hand emoji inserted here}
Regardless of how late we get to our bedtime routine I make it a priority to always read at least two, usually three (sometimes more) books to Marcus before we end our day. We do a lot of fun things throughout the day, but those quiet moments of story are among my favorite.

Then, not too long ago Marcus received a little surprise in the mail from his Grandma and Grandpa. It was the book The Little Boy Who Lost His Name. Admittedly, I hadn't heard of the book, but was excited to read it with Marcus nonetheless.

To my absolute delight the book was personalized from beginning to end.
In the story a little boy loses his name and embarks on a journey to try and find his name. Along his journey the little boy encounters several creatures who assist the little boy in finding his name.
By the end the little boy is thrilled to learn that with the help of the creatures he was able to find his name.
We absolutely adore this book. I think so highly of this sweet book that it is now my go-to gift for kiddos around Marcus' age.
Along with the great personalized story I was pleased with how easy it was to create a Lost My Name book. There was a full preview of what each and every page of the book would look like before I hit the "purchase" button.
If you're curious, that is not the name of M². Rather, it was a gift for one of Marcus' friends.
Since receiving The Little Boy Who Lost His Name there have been countless nights Marcus asks, "Can we read the boy who lost his name book?" And I can't help but smile and gladly pull it from the shelf.
We love The Little Boy Who Lost His Name so much that we want to give away personalized copy to another little boy or girl! Simply follow the raffle prompts below to enter for a chance to win.

  1. How awesome!! I think this would be a great book for Alyx =) Since her name is spelled differently it's pretty much impossible to find anything with her name on it =)

  10. Connor finally meet someone with his name and I will be completely transparent when I say he was 700 shades of pissed that there was another Connor. I wonder what he would do if he thought he lost his name...

  11. Hmmm, who would make the perfect recipient of this book??? I think I have to go... TATE!!! ;)

    Was going to get him a personalized book last Christmas but then decided to wait til this year so he'd be older and maybe appreciate it more. :) I've found several cute ones, can't wait til Tate gets one of his own!
