Cabo {{2015}}

Our family had the privilege to spend all of last week with my parents and their friends in Cabo San Lucas.
It was an amazing week filled with sun, swimming, and so much relaxing. It was exactly what my family needed, especially before the little lady arrives.

To recap, here's what our week looked like:
SPA DAY
One morning was spent at the resort spa.
The prenatal massage was next to heavenly. And the fish spa/foot treatment was such a trip.

DOLPHINS!
Marcus, Scott, and Grandma had an up close and personal encounter with dolphins. Apparently when you're pregnant you are also a huge liability, so I had to sit this one out. Talk about bummer.
Marcus was a trooper and did really well for the first half of the experience. Then between being lunch time, being in the sun, and all the excitement he had to sit the last half out. However, Grandma and Scott had a pretty stellar experience. It wasn't too shabby watching from the sidelines, either.

WILD LIFE
We met a lion cub.
Because, when in Cabo, why not?

WATER TAXI
While in Cabo it's almost mandatory to rent a water taxi to get up close to the infamous Arch.
Our water ride apparently didn't impress Marcus all that much, though.

SNORKEL
Scott and I took an afternoon to go snorkeling. I don't have a single photo to share, but it was a great little break to get away, just the two of us, for a few hours.

THE CABO SKIES
We saw some phenomenal sunsets and sunrises.
I'm still not sure which I loved more.

BEACH RUNS
A few mornings were spent alone on the beach, running next to the crashing waves and rising sun.

FAMILY/GRANDPA & GRANDMA TIME
Every day we were blessed to spend with family.
Dinner at The Office. If you're ever in Cabo be sure to eat here.
And Marcus was showered with love and attention from Grandpa and Grandma.

POOL
Mostly we spent our days here.
We relaxed. We swam. We watched Marcus endlessly go down the water slide. We enjoyed our time together.
And it was just the best.

Cabo, you were amazing. Adios until next time!

  5. hm no dolphins but you got to hold a big kitty! Other than that it looks just awful. Sunshine and swimming and prettiness. I'm so sorry you had to put up with that for a week. =)

  10. Your trip sounded amazing! And such a great way to spend time as a family before baby girl comes. That scenery! The blues of the ocean just get me. And YES to the pool! What I wouldn't give to be sitting next to something like that right now!

  14. We’ve never been to Cabo…but it’s on our list. Your pictures are amazing and make me want to jump on the next plane out. The fish foot spa…I’ve seen that on tv and have wondered about it and if I could actually go through it. I get the heebie jeebies just thinking about it. How did you like it? And that lion cub! So freakin’ cute. He looks so cuddly! Looks like you guys had a good time! Love all of the pictures.
