For the ten days Marcus and I were in Kansas at least seven of those days were rainy. I'd like to say that's an exaggeration, but it's not. We saw more rain in those days than we'd seen all year long in California.
One afternoon Marcus was lucky to have his cousins around to keep the entertainment and excitement (and noise levels) high. It was also apparent we weren't going to have much luck in the way of favorable weather.
After pulling out all the stops on indoor fun we were running out of activities. The boys were getting restless. And, apparently with restless comes even more noise (how is that possible?!). After some quick on-the-feet thinking I discovered *just* the activity that got the boys sitting down, quite, and happy.
I grabbed the tub of Breyers Gelato from the fridge, scooped up liberal portions, and let the boys have at the creamy goodness.
It was pretty obvious the mid-afternoon, rainy snack was a solid success.
The next time the skies open up and we are stuck inside I'll be sure to have Breyers Gelato on hand.
I received this product complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster, however all opinions are my own.
Up next on our rain-day to-do is the Ivory Soap Microwave Experiment.
I didn't know Breyer's has gelato!! Definitely checking this out when I go to the grocery store next!
ReplyDeleteI'm about to pick up mine to try out too!
