The Story of Us nominated me for this award and I
meant to write this sooner am just getting to posting.
There are a few easy rule to follow:

2. List three things you love most about motherhood.

What I love about motherhood:
1. I never knew how much love my heart could hold until Marcus was born.
The instant I laid eyes on him I could literally feel my heart expanding within me. I thought I knew what love was, but I had no idea. The love and joy a child brings is amazing and indescribable.
2. Before Marcus was born there were things I couldn't wait to teach him. However, in the past 13 1/2 months it has become obvious that it is I doing the learning.
To see the beauty and wonder of the world though a little one's eyes is breathtaking. I believed in God before, but seeing the world as Marcus does has opened my eyes to God in the everyday things I may have once overlooked.
3. Perhaps the greatest joy as a momma is sitting back and watching to see what a wonderful dad Scott is to Marcus.
Watching my two guys makes my heart smile. I'm lucky to have such an incredible support system, and I wouldn't be able to do my job as well without Scott.

ReplyDeleteI definitely fall in love with Jeremy in a deeper and different way every time that I see how gentle and loving and kind and patient and understand he is with Henry. Love all the photos of the little man!
