On with the highlights!
Mail was on point yesterday. It's rare I take a few minutes for myself these days (there are not enough hours in the day for such luxuries), but yesterday's mail gave me the opportunity to have a little 'me' time.
1. My first Stitch Fix arrived! These days the idea of shopping in stores makes me shudder. I loved the idea of the mall coming to me, and I had fun trying on the items in the comfort of my home.
I plan to do a more detailed post on my first experiences and all the pieces next week. Spoiler alert: my wardrobe has grown.
2. My Fall Blog Exchange box arrived! My partner, Andrea, nailed it.

3. Chucks!
Thanks to pregnancy my feet have grown and I was in dire need of new kicks. These dandies came in the mail and I instantly fell in love. Sadly, they're a tad too big, so they'll have to be exchanged for a smaller size before I can actually enjoy them.
4. This has absolutely nothing to do with the mail... But, GO ROYALS! Just one more win and they clench the ALCS and head to the World Series.
5. Our weekend is full of Halloween fun. On the agenda, a Trunk or Treat and RISE of the Jack o' Lanterns!

I totally get the long hour days! Brian did that 2 weeks ago now. And when the weekend came I was sooo thankful!!! Okay so first up, AWESOME mail day!!! I've been leery of stich fix...so you'll have to let us know if you are absolutely in love with it. Second, I'm excited to see your Fall exchange box! Third, tell me more about the converse sneakers! I've wanted a pair for a long time now, but i'm not so sure how comfy they are? And I've also heard sizing is off a bit. And Fourth...Enjoy your weeekend!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI hear the long hours that hubby's work. Ugh! Drew has been sent the the last few NASCAR races which means we miss him all week and he's gone on the weekend too. Boo!! Yay for such fun mail this week! I love when that happens. Have so much fun this weekend!

ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! Awesome way to end a tough week. Single parenting 2 kids is no joke. My husband's been traveling a ton for work and it's SOOOO hard! Love those chucks and I can't wait for the reveals from your SF box and Fall Exchange!!

I thought I was the only one whose feet had grown from pregnancy! What a relief lol. I may be the last remaining woman blogger who hasnt tried Stitch Fix yet, excited to see your fix!
