Currently...

These are my favorite. I love reading them. I love writing them. I just love them.

Last I was fortunate to be featured on Tayler's blog, The Morrell Tale (be sure to swing by and say hi to her!). I knew this type of post would be the perfect way to give a quick glimpse to new readers of me and my life right now. I thought it fitting to share it on my little piece of the blogosphere as well.

Currently I am…

Thinking about :: Just how fast this summer has gone, and our Bucket List of things to do. Marcus and I have really made the most out of last few months together as Marcus and Mommy. I'm hoping we can complete all the items on our List before the baby arrives.

Working on :: All the last little details of baby prep! We're thisclose to having everything ready (or so we think).
Prints are from TheDigitalStudio.
Oval frames are from primitivepincushion.
Rectangle frames are from ThePaintedLdy.
Reading :: The Garden on Sunset by Martin Turnbull. Most of the books I've read as of late have been thanks to suggestions from BookBub. Many books are at ridiculously reduced prices, sometimes they are even free! I've also noticed many of the books are by up and coming authors, so the books and authors aren't as well known, and I love supporting those authors.

Listening to :: Marcus is completely obsessed with the Luke Bryan song, "Kick the Dust Up." That's pretty much on repeat right now.

Eating :: Watermelon, grapes, peaches, and popsicles all the livelong day. Summer heat plus pregnancy cravings at their finest!

Watching :: My husband and I are HGTV addicts. Fixer Upper, Flip or Flop, Love It or List It, and Property Brothers are among our favorites. Maybe someday we'll actually have the courage to try a few at-home renovations of our own.

Wanting :: A backyard. We live in a townhome and our small back patio just doesn't cut it. I'd love to let my kids and dog loose in a big grassy yard complete with a swing set and sandbox.

Feeling :: Pretty big and tired these days. At 8 1/2 months pregnant that tends to happen.
Loving :: all the bows and headbands! I just received some adorable headbands for our little lady and I'm certain a girl can never have too many.

Thankful for :: These two and the little miss we'll be meeting soon. They're pretty awesome and make my world go 'round.
Tell me, what's going on in your world, currently?

  2. We're OBSESSED with HGTV too! When does Fixer Upper come back on?! Because I'm in serious denial! Though whenever it's on, I'm just INSANELY jealous that they can buy a house for $10,000, put in $100,000 worth of renovations and have a gorgeous house. Did you see that episode? I died. I think it was for their table maker mann...gosh, now I forgot his name.
Did you order more Sadie Sky bows?!?! Do you love them? I'd be in SOOOOOO much trouble if I had a girl! Give me all the headbands and bows!
And YES!!! Backyard. In my dreams.

  5. I love HGTV! Although I highly doubt I will ever do any of those kind of renovations - I'd rather pay someone :) And such a cute headband! I need to order some from there for this little miss on the way :)

  6. I love these kinds of posts, too! This summer is going by entirely too fast, sadly. You guys are making a huge dent in your bucket list and I am confident you will get it all done. I love the frames in baby girls nursery! I’m gonna have to go listen to that Luke Bryan song. I am so ready for new episodes of Fixer Upper. We drove through Waco on Saturday and Chip & JoAnna have a huge billboard off the freeway. Jess {Sadie sky} makes the cutest headbands and that one is going to look precious on your sweet little lady. It’s been a while since I’ve written a currently post. I need to do that. Enjoyed reading yours!

  9. Currently I can't believe that school starts 2 weeks from today and that I am the mother to a 7th grader - how did that happen? Currently i can't believe that football season is right around the corner ... usually i'm so disgusted with baseball at this point in the season, but this year the Royals are finding 1738 ways to kill it so football season snuck up on me!

  10. I can not wait to see the big nursery reveal. All of the sneak peek have me so sure it is going to be just beautiful. Oh the bows, I really like that gold one. As long as the bow is not larger than the babies head I am all about them. Do most homes have smaller back yards in your neck of the woods. ours is pretty huge but we also are built on a double lot.
