Marcus & Lolo Do The Lake

We continue to keep our itinerary packed, and our days are spent go-go-going. While it's great doing all this *stuff* a break from it all is needed every now and then.

This past weekend we packed up and headed north. Like last summer, we spent a chill weekend with my bestie, Amy, her little, Lolo, and Amy's parents, who live on a small, quiet lake. 

We didn't have any place we had to be, and our plans were decided in a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants kind of style. 

Pontoon rides were had, and captaining the boat was a highlight...

A pontoon smooch was shared...

We took a dip in the lake...

Cruised around on a golf cart...

Explored a historic Iowa farmstead...

Were conductors of a train for an afternoon...

Made friends with a tiny turtle...

And, obsessed over the breath taking beauty that surrounded us...

It.was.perfect.
