Confessions Pt. II

After a riveting round one of confessions a couple weeks back I thought why stop the fun? So, back at it we are with another round...
  • I. am. SO. over. answering. "WHY?" If it's asked once a day it's asked a bazillion times a day.
  • Along with, "why," Marcus has gotten into the habit of asking, "WHAT?" When I know he's clearly heard me the first three times.
"Marcus, can you please pick up your toys?"
    "What?"
"Marcus, can you please pick up your toys?"
    "What?"
"MARCUS, CAN YOU PLEASE PICK UP YOUR TOYS?!"
  • I'm not a Bieber fan. But that song, "Love Yourself"? While I can't relate to the words at. all. I love the song.
  • I can't believe I'm admitting this... I found a gray hair! What in the actual hell.
  • Sleep training has derailed. Like, big, big BIG time. We are back at it and the past few nights have been nothing short of hell. I've come to the conclusion I breed non-sleepers.
  • Monday I felt unbelievably ill. Thank goodness my in-laws were in town and took Marcus out exploring for the day. I, on the other hand, literally plopped down next to Julia on her play mat and remained that way for much of the day.
  • While the full illness has subsided I've felt queasy/nauseous ever since. It's all very reminiscent of the morning sickness I had with Julia... But, it's not that - I've already checked. If things don't change in the next few days we'll re-evaluate... *deep breaths*
There you have it, round two is in the books.

The weekend is in sight. A to the Men!

  1. Cam says what all the time too. I know he heard me. :) I've never been a big Bieber fan before, but I do love his new music. Great to dance around to. And since he spent a long weekend in my small USA town in Indiana and my family and friends said how nice he was and down to earth I have changed my opinion of him. I bred none sleepers too. They must just love us so much they want to see us in the middle of the night.

  2. Oh the "why". All the time. Hope you are feeling better soon!

  3. I think I should avoid saying the word why to Aria for the next few years. She hasn't picked that up yet. Although she asks me if it is going to be night time the entire day, for what reason I have no idea.
Sorry you felt sick. Funny that you checked to see if it was something a bit more.
And no to the non sleepers! I hope that gets better.

  4. I have to admit that I've probably found a gray hair once or twice too but I am in complete denial and pretend it is blond, because... I'm blond? LOL. But really it did look more blond than gray... I think...

  5. Abbie has not hit the "why" stage yet - thank goodness.

And I can't tell you how many gray hairs I've found... and they're like, silver. It's so weird against my dark hair... I try not to worry too much about it, but I know I'll be dying my hair before I know it!

  6. Oh gosh- the why questions. Yep, we have that over here too. Glad you're not feeling sick, but that nauseous feeling isn't fun (and can be frightening!) :) Hope sleep training gets better- just curious, have you tried a zipadee zip? We have one and miss Charlotte loves that thing! Keeps her nice and cozy :)

  7. OMG, Mila has been saying "what?" to everything and it's driving me insane! At first, I thought something was wrong and I was worried she had an ear infection and couldn't hear clearly. She can hear perfectly fine - she's just saying "what?" because she thinks it funny. Kids!!! I had that same sick feeling last Thursday. I was fine by Friday night, but it was just like you described! Feel better!

  8. I am in utter denial and pluck gray hairs as soon as I spot them -- which means I'll be bald by my next birthday...

Hoping and praying extra hard you get feeling better soon -- and should "re-evaluation" take place, know you make the cutest babes, God has a plan (no matter how baffling it may be at the time) and are the bestest mom on the block.

  9. This was me last week. I had the virus on Monday but the nausea lingered until Saturday. It was awful!! I have gray hairs too, friend!

  11. Oh my!!! I was SO nausea the week before I had my tubes tide, and I was like, NO WAY! Ha! Turned out to be my cold! I LOVE Bieber's new song...why?? I don't like him or the words!

  12. That song is so stupid catchy. Total earworm. Hear it once and end up singing it all day long.

  13. I'm crossing my finger it is morning sickness!!! :) xxxxx ! :)

ugh, sleep issues. Ain't no mama got time for that! <--- No I don't normally talk like that, ha!

OMG, I remember those days of 'what'. Drove me INSANE!!! I completely forgot about it until you mentioned it! Hmm, when was the last time Brennan did that? Probably only about a month ago, my brain's fried these days!

  14. Ugh, the why?s and the what?s are killing me too. And sorry to hear you're not feeling well on top of not sleeping well. That's the worst. Sending you all healthy sleepy vibes.

  15. Connor talks 24-7. Well that's not true, he is quiet when he is sleeping but we both know how short lived sleep in this house is.

  16. Every time I go get my hair cut, I'm on the gray hair watch. I'm actually kind of looking forward to it because I told myself I won't dye my hair until I spot a gray. Once the gray comes, the fun dye jobs will begin! Why and What. OMGoodness :( Hoping you're feeling better or you find out something otherwise ;)

  17. I am obsessed with Love Yourself and the music video! And I have only had one rouge gray eyebrow hair, so I think I'm still safe!

  18. Gray hair, sigh. Yes, yes I have them too. Something happened when I turned 30 and the dirt bags started popping up everywhere.
